A dolphin tour is fun for all Panama City Beach visitors. If you’re looking for a more adventurous ride, we can take Waverunners on our journey. If you have young kids or members of your party that just want to kick back and relax, our tour boats can make sure that everyone rides in comfort as we search out wild dolphins. Also you can take pictures, video, and make sure that your trip is one to remember!

Our Dolphin & Island Tours take approximately 3 hours. Seasonally, departure times are subject to change. The dock is currently empty at 9:00 a.m., and 12:30. —

We will travel to Historic Grand Lagoon and take a 25-minute relaxing cruise to Shell Island, our snorkeling area. Look out for dolphins and other sea creatures as you cruise along the coast. We will anchor at the Gulf of Mexico or Shell Island. From there, you can either snorkel for seashells or learn about local marine-life. Or just relax and soak up the sun. Shell Island also has shallow water that you can use to search for shells. After visiting Shell Island for a while, we will take a ride into the Gulf of Mexico. Here we will look for dolphins and see the sights along the way.

Dolphin Tours: 8:00 am and run every two hours ? 8am-10am ? 10:30-12:30? 1pm-3pm? 3:30pm-5:30pm, and? 6pm-8pm (Sunset Tour)

Starfish, bay scallops (with sand dollars), whelks, starfish up to 21 inches in length, conchs with a maximum length of 21 inches, seahorses, urchins, hermit crabs, and other crab species are some of the species we often see. These animals can easily be brought to the surface, photographed, and handled with care. So that anyone can view them, even those who are not snorkers, we bring large containers. Any shells found with no living creatures can be taken home.

We do need to note that dolphins are wild animals. Although we know all the places they’re likely to be, very rarely the dolphins evade us. This not only allows for a much more intimate and interactive experience but also a safer trip since you won’t be sharing the boat with anyone outside your party.

Panama City dolphin tours and Shell Island trips with Panama City Beach Snorkeling & Dolphin Tours LLC are small, private charters, for a maximum of 12 guests (no more than 6 per boat). This not only allows for a much more intimate and interactive experience but also a safer trip since you won’t be sharing the boat with anyone outside your party.

For a relaxing 25-minute cruise to Shell Island, our snorkel area, we will leave Historic Grand Lagoon. Keep an eye out for dolphins, sea creatures and other marine life as you travel. We will either anchor along the Gulf of Mexico, Shell Island, or both. Here you can snorkel for shells, learn more about the local marine life, and just relax while taking in the sun. To hunt for shells, you can also swim through the shallow waters to Shell Island. After spending some time on Shell Island, the trip will conclude with a ride to the Gulf of Mexico where we can search for dolphins as well as sight-see.

We'll take you into the water before the dolphins arrive. So the dolphins are more likely than not to swim away to us to find us. Panama City Beach Snorkeling & Dolphin Tours LLC only has 6 passengers (children and adults included) as opposed to larger tour boats carrying up to 150 people. Our snorkel gear can be put on quickly so you don't have the disruptions and splashing that large groups cause, which often scares the dolphins. We have five boats with identical designs for larger groups. The new Large Family Dolphin can accommodate up to 15 guests.
